Hotel Review: Marriott's Mai Khao Beach - Phuket, Thailand

My First Impressions when entering the hotel
The resort is situated in a tranquil area of Phuket, making it ideal for travelers seeking a more relaxed and peaceful vacation.
Turtle Village, located nearby, features several restaurants and supermarkets, making it an excellent location to extend your stay. However, it is a considerable distance from Phuket's city center, requiring an hour's drive. On the other hand, the village is conveniently close to the airport, only a 15-minute drive away.
My room
The room I stayed in was a spacious two-bedroom unit that included a living room, dining table, large balcony, small kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. It is highly suitable for families. The resort offers complete facilities, such as multiple swimming pools, restaurants, gyms, and bicycles for rent. Moreover, there is a scheduled shuttle bus service to the nearby JW Marriott.
Pros and Cons
The environment is quiet and peaceful, but there aren't many restaurants or shops nearby like in the old city of Phuket.
The restaurants inside the hotel are not very good, and the Thai food is not very authentic.
Conclusion
This is a good property to stay at if you are a member of the Marriott Vacation Club.
