Exploring the Natural Wonders of Pilanesberg National Park: An Ultimate Safari Adventure

Pilanesberg National Park is a popular game reserve located in the North West Province of South Africa, and is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg. Our local friends arranged this lovely trip for us, and we were very fortunate to see all of the Big Five in just one day.

Staying in the national park means there is no light pollution, so you can see so many stars at night. Having dinner and drinks by the campfire while listening to music, and going on morning game drives to chase after animals, are such amazing experiences.

During our stay at Ivory Tree Game Lodge in Pilanesberg, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip, although the outdoor shower in winter was a bit chilly! :p

If I have the time to go back to Africa again, I would love to do another safari trip. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that everyone should have!
