My First Impressions when entering the hotel
The location of Silavadee Resort is ideal. It is located in the southeast of Koh Samui, not far from the main attractions and city center of the island, but hidden in tropical jungle and beach, providing for a quiet and relaxing experience. I particularly appreciate the hotel's private beach, which boasts a pristine sandy shoreline and crystal-clear waters.
My room
The room I stayed in was not large but clean. The downside was that the bathroom space was small, and the curtains were not blackout curtains. I am sensitive to light and used to staying up late. If the sun shines into the room during the morning, I will be awakened by the light and cannot sleep well.
Pros and Cons
When checking in, the hotel will ask you to download an app where all hotel information is available, and you can also contact the hotel staff through the app (which has automatic translation function). If you need anything, you can order it through the app, which is very convenient. The hotel also provides turn down service in the evening, leaving some small snacks every night.
The facilities of Silavadee Resort is ok. There are luxurious rooms and villas equipped with modern facilities and amenities, including private swimming pools, terraces, and standalone bathtubs.
The breakfast at Silavadee Resort is ok. The restaurant is located near the villa area, and you can take a golf cart there. Although there are not many choices on the menu, the dishes are refined and can be ordered à la carte
Conclusion
If I were to return to Koh Samui, I would likely choose to stay at a different resort as there are many options available. My experience at Silavadee Resort was not very impressive.
